Evanston: maintenance
During the past week I’ve updated and made mostly minor changes to several pages on this site.
I’ve added a photograph to Webb Chiles and in doing so realized that when I took it I was influenced by William Butler Yeats.
I’ve added The Log of Spartina to Links and updated the site of Louise Bleakly’s Spirit of the World photos.
I added several entries to what was called “favorite posts” on the journal page and renamed them “specimen posts”, which might seem urological, but follows Walt Whitman’s ‘Specimen Days.’ They were never ‘favorites’ anyway.
I changed a few words in Introduction and deleted a paragraph in Contact.
The biggest change is Books, which now has clickable book covers and links to the various editions.
Above is the latest effort in my new career as a book cover designer.
shadows and other stories, including “Last Born”, “Saint Stylites of Las Vegas”, and the ever popular, “Sailing to Africa” is now available in a Kindle Edition. The lack of a capital letter in ‘shadows’ is deliberate.
