Evanston: four views of the Main Street Bridge
Evanston: four views of the Main Street Bridge
Carol usually walks to and from the Metra stop at Main Street, which is about a half mile from the condo, but when it rains she calls me and I drove over to pick her up.
I was sitting in the car under the railway bridge waiting for her train one day last week when I actually looked at it.
I photographed it yesterday on my way back from bicycling to the liquor store. I was out of Laphroaig.
There are more than a dozen such bridges in Evanston, and there must be hundreds in Chicago.
They all look like this. Or worse.
