Sunny and cold.  The photo of our very small Christmas tree was taken last week.   Most of the snow melted Saturday when the temperature rose into the low 50ties/12C.

        We are spending the day quietly at home, the first in Evanston.

        So far this decade we’ve spent Christmas in four different countries:  

            2001  Salvador, Brazil

            2002 Carol flew and joined me in Fremantle, Australia

            2003-2005  Charlestown

            2006 Carol flew and joined me in New Zealand

        Not sure where the boat and/or we will be next year.
