Between March 2006 and June 2021 my time ashore was spent in our third floor condominium in Evanston, Illinois.  The building was new when we moved in.  Each floor is divided front to back into two units.  We were fortunate to be on the sunny south side of the building.

The neighborhood is residential, with no buildings higher than four stories.  The streets are tree lined, as is most of Evanston.  The one in front of the building is quiet, but one away to the side is a busier boulevard, beyond which is a large and well maintained cemetery.  Cemeteries make good neighbors.  Lake Michigan is less than a ten minute walk to the east.

As with the mooring page, all the photographs here were taken in or from the condo itself, with the obvious exception of the exterior view.
